Window Overview

App Wrapper will list out the application icon and the document types for icons to be added or created.¹

• Add a Application Icon
• Add a Document Icon
• View or Edit an icon
• Remove an icon

If there are no icons listed, add the application to a document.

Add a Application Icon

• From an existing ICNS file
• From a single image
• Using a series of images

From an existing ICNS file

Simply drag and drop the ICNS file over the Application Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page. Hold down the option key if you'd like App Wrapper to link to the ICNS file instead of copying it.

From a single image

Either drag and drop the image file over the Application Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page or click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of said panel and choose "Select an image file...".

Using a series of images

Either drag and drop the image file over the Application Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page or click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of said panel and choose "Select an image file...".

When inside the icon editor, click on the "Edit" segmented section of the Icon editor. From here, the various sized images can be dragged into the corresponding sized areas.

From an existing ICNS file

Simply drag and drop the ICNS file over the Document Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page. Hold down the option key if you'd like App Wrapper to link to the ICNS file instead of copying it.

Create with the application icon

Click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of document type and choose "Create Document Icon...".

From a single image

Either drag and drop the image file over the Document Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page or click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of said panel and choose "Select an image file...".

Using a series of images

Either drag and drop the image file over the Document Icon section in the Icons panel of the "Contents" Page or click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of said panel and choose "Select an image file...".

When inside the icon editor, click on the "Edit" segmented section of the Icon editor. From here, the various sized images can be dragged into the corresponding sized areas.

View or Edit an icon

Click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of icon and choose "View or Edit Icon".

Remove an icon

Click the "Action" icon in the top right hand corner of icon and choose "Remove this Icon".

Then confirm that the icon is to removed, this operation cannot be undone.
