This is documented here as we continue to restore our website after site outages
With HDRtist NX 2, Apple required us to use their In-App-Purchase system in order to be able to sell the product via their App Store. This took us an extraordinary amount of time to integrate, because of the many failures we encountered during testing.
We've put together this document because there are some issues that we encountered, and at the time were unable to fully understand or resolve. As solutions to these problems become clear, we'll update this document.
Description: Opening the "Subscriptions" window in our software, shows an error message that Product(s) are not available. There are multiple causes for this issue.
Notes: Sometimes these issues are resolved in minutes, the longest it's taken for Apple to fix the issue has been 96 hours. Unfortunately there is very little we can do in these situations.
Solution: We have to report these issues to Apple and await Apple to resolve them, issues reported on a Friday or over the weekend do not get resolved until the following Tuesday.
Description: Instead of being asked to extend an existing subscription, the app store says that the subscription has already been purchased and will restore it for FREE.
Notes: This issue appears to isolated to macOS 10.15.4 & macOS 10.15.5, we have reported it to Apple on April the 6th 2020.
Solution: None yet.
Description: After trying to renew a subscription, get asked repeatedly to log-in to the App Store.
Notes: This issue appears to isolated to macOS 10.15.4 & macOS 10.15.5, we have reported it to Apple on April the 6th 2020.
