There are a number of reasons as to why a Symbolic Link can cause code sign failures, Gate Keeper failures, Notarization failures and even failures with App Store submission.
If App Wrapper detects one of the above, it is recommended to update the link to either be valid, or if it is not actually needed, removed from the application bundle.
