Create a new App Wrapper document

Creating a new App Wrapper document can be done by using one of the following options.

1. Drag an application into the Welcome Screen. To get to the Welcome Screen at any time, select "New" from the "File" menu.
2. Click on "Running" on the Welcome Screen, double click the icon for the application to be wrapped.

Open a App Wrapper Document

There are several ways to open App Wrapper documents.

Recent Documents

1. From the Welcome Screen, select "Recent" and either scroll through the list or use the search field to find the document.
2. From the "File" menu, select "Open Recent" and then an item from the list.

Other documents

1. If you know where the document is, double click it in the Finder.
2. If App Wrapper manages the document for you, select "Managed Docs" from the Welcome Screen and either scroll through the list to select the document or use the Search field to find it.
3. Select "Open" from the "File" menu and select an App Wrapper document from the open dialog.
4. Click the "Open Other..." button on the Welcome Screen to display an open file dialog, from there select the document to open.
5. Drag the application icon into the "Welcome Screen" to find and open the document for it.

This is done via the Icons pane of the "Contents" section of the App Wrapper Document. Once you set App Wrapper to include an application icon, it will display that in the Welcome Screen.
